For those struggling with inadequate executive function skills, coaching is the most effective means of support. Our program provides students with numerous organizational and study skills, but grounds all such strategies in helping students to take ownership of their struggles. For students struggling in this area it is simply not enough to “teach” them study skills. We engage them with their goals and dreams and the “nitty-gritty” of what it takes to move forward and attain success. Many students come because of their parents prodding, but the focus is all about getting them to see how much better life can be once they learn how to execute successfully in school and life.
We typically have a quarterly Executive Functioning Support Group as well to help teens build their skills. Help your teen integrate successful habits through peer interaction and professional guidance! Get more info on group sessions here.
